Songwriting 201 - for Experienced Songwriters

Songwriting 210 - for Experienced Songwriters

Are you an experienced songwriter wishing to upgrade your skills? Do your songs ‘work’ but not ‘inspire’? Do you experience writer’s block or seem to keep writing the same song over and over?

In this 7-week course, you’ll learn how to inspire listeners with imaginative and evocative lyrics, create melodies that are fresh and memorable, develop songs that move bodies and hearts and originate songs that are intriguingly intricate or simply profound. This class will help you elevate songs from a passive ‘listening’ experience into eloquent investments in the exchange of ideas and values with your listeners through the power of songs.

Seven Alternating Thursdays: Jan 28, Feb 11, 25, Mar 11, 25, Apr 8, 22. 7-8:30 PM $75

LIVE! From the Rainbow Room @ Alderthyme!

Every Tuesday night starting about 8 PM Brian Kaufman and I present an hour of social distance fun, frolic, and music through Facebook Live. This is a relaxed, chat-room-participation evening where we celebrate the weeks' highs and lows, toast what's happening, commiserate what's happening, share non-political viewpoints, tell stories, and sing lots of songs - familiar, popular, traditional, original, and sometimes we make stuff up on the spot! Open the chatbox and join in the conversation or just enjoy passively in the comfort of your underwear - a guaranteed GOOD TIME! If you feel the lack of social interaction in your Covid-world, join us online for inventive, interactive party-fun and music. ALL are welcome! FREE!
